The functionAs Product Specialist within our Sales Team, you are the specialist for our Innova software. You are the linking pin between our Area Sales Managers and the several Marel Poultry international innovation centers. Together with our Area Sales Managers you identify opportunities and define optimal solutions for our customers. This means analyzing the customer logistic processes and the customers’ needs to match these with our Innova solutions.
Besides that, you are responsible for bringing the software knowledge of our sales team continuously to the highest level. Based on your market knowledge you identify opportunities for new product market combinations within Innova and communicate them with our innovation centers. You challenge and support our Innovation Teams during the development and support the launch of new solutions.
Together with the Area Sales Managers you visit our clients as the Innova expert. In relation to this, you’ll be travelling approximately 35% of your time.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate has commercial experience on software solutions for production control and management. Preferably within the food sector or a similar industry. You are strong in analyzing production processes and translate your findings into customer solutions. Due to your strong communication skills you are able to explain your solution to our customers and show them the added value. You have experience in working in a larger enterprise, like Marel.
You possess strong written and oral communication skills, both on a personal level as well as to larger groups.
You have a good understanding of software technologies, where the focus is on processes and functionality. Next to that, you have a good understanding of the customers “buying centers” related to software sales. You are able to understand, write and speak the English language fluently and preferably another language.
