Marel has globalized its IT Infrastructure services, which are developed, managed and supported by Marel’s Infrastructure team. Within the team several domains are recognized, like workplace, collaboration and access & security. The domain access & security has as main focus points services like: Active Directory /ADFS, Endpoint security, Endpoint Backup, Websecurity, PKI and Multifactor Authentication.
As IT Infrastructure Specialist you report to the Manager Global Infrastructure and work closely together with the Infra architect, service manager and of course the other Infrastructure specialists.
Together with your colleagues infrastructure specialists you take care of an optimal performance of Marel’s global infrastructure. Next to that you come forward with improvement plans, as well new infrastructure services to enhance the infrastructure services for the Marel organization and act as solution architect in projects.
As Infrastructure Specialist – Access & Security your main responsibilities for the domain are:
• Primary contact for the infra domain access & security
• (Co)developing the roadmap for the domain
• Evaluate future technologies against business requirements, strategies and map them to IT capabilities
• Sharing best practices and being consultative
• Delivery of improvement proposal
• Executing change management, including planning and implementation
• Supporting the regional IT teams
• Creating and maintaining procedures and documentation
You have a bachelor or master degree in information management and gained 5-10 years IT Infrastructure experience in an international environment. You also have strong analytical and problem solving abilities, and you are able to see the entire range of possibilities, including interfaces with other subjects and developments. We are looking for somebody with strong communication skills and who likes to work within a team
You have extensive experience with solutions, like;
o Active Directory/ADFS , including (group) policies
o Endpoint security (client backup, antivirus)
o Web security
You like investigating new (market and business) developments that are valuable for the organization. You are result driven; you can start up new initiatives, but you are also able to drive these to a solid solution.
You are fluent in English, both in writing and verbally and also willing to participate in consignment duties
You have knowledge of and experience with project methods (Prince2).
